About Us

Planting God’s Word. Empowering God’s Workers. Strengthening God’s Church.

The Sower Bible Project is a Scripture‑distribution initiative designed to equip pastors, ministry leaders, and emerging disciples in Northern Uganda with Bibles to strengthen teaching, deepen faith, and empower local churches. Rooted in the heart of Operation Sower, this project embodies the biblical call to “sow the seed” of God’s Word with generosity, cultural sensitivity, and long‑term vision.

In a region where many pastors shepherd congregations without access to a personal study Bible, the Sower Bible Project stands in the gap—providing Bibles in English and local languages. Each Bible is more than a book; it is a tool for discipleship, a source of hope, and a seed of transformation planted in the hands of those called to lead.

Every Bible distributed strengthens a ministry, encourages a leader, and multiplies the impact of the Gospel across villages, fellowships, and families.

The Sower Bible Project is built on a simple conviction: when you place God’s Word in the hands of God’s workers, entire communities flourish. Through this initiative, Operation Sower continues its mission to cultivate resilient, Christ‑centered communities—one Bible, one pastor, and one seed of hope at a time.
